It was howling, raining and the sea was totally wild. I didn’t want to get too close, always worrying about a rogue wave.
I spotted these two limpets in a rock pool but the sea was too far away from there for the wave surf to decorate the beach effectively so I waited for the tide to come in enough to flow around the rocks nearby. It was a complicated shot, everything is wet and i must have waited a good couple of hours. Definitely worth the while, particularly when the big kelp seaweed washed up.
