I so enjoyed composing this. The tide was very high, the contrasting rock shapes and the cracked, broken textures made a wonderful foreground, and the colours and tones of this evening were very appealing.. I am crouching precariously close to the water, one hand holding onto my camera strap, the other a lens cloth as the splashes from the sea were constant.
A very long exposure has flattened the big crashing waves and makes the rocks really jump out. This is a beautiful print!
