It is late, very dark, and the tide is coming in fast, reclaiming the beach and rushing all around this slightly raised area creating a sand bank surrounded by water.
Exposure time was long because of the low light, 2 minutes, so by the time i finished the next photo the sand bank had disappeared.
I love the simplicity (it wasn’t) of this photo and enjoy the fact that it is unique.
